OLD BUSINESS:

Terria Baynor has Cemetery Books A through C ready for indexing. She needed five volunteers to do the indexing using wordpad. Judy Guthrie, Mary Disharoon, Rose Andrew, Louise Cowell and Ann Basnight accepted the challenge.

Ann reported the joint Hyde-Beaufort dinner meeting will be held on March 16th at 6 p.m. in the basement of the First Baptist Church in Sladesville. The call list was activated since Hyde needed the county no later than March 8th.

Ann reported the Board of Directors has voted to sponsor a 15 passenger van to transport 15 members to the archives. April 20th was chosen as the date for the trip with June 1st proposed as an alternate date if enough people weren’t available on April 20th. Members will be canvassed by phone.

NEW BUSINESS:
